Warwick Analytics, a fast-growing predictive analytics software spin-out from Warwick University, seek a Sales Executive to augment its sales capabilities into new clients and markets. This is a key growth role within the company with the successful applicant reporting directly into the Head of Sales. The successful candidate will come in to generate leads, particularly telephone and email based, and then have an open opportunity to develop the role in a multitude of directions and become a senior person within the sales organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
• New business development including scoping out new industries with correct product-market fit
• Target customer identification
• Improving and maintaining the CRM database system
• Help build collateral, assets and marketing campaigns
• Help grow the product based on customers’ needs, both immediate and strategic

Candidate Specification
The successful applicant needs to be intelligent, articulate and have a desire to succeed in a mature and dynamic start-up environment. Self-motivation, determination and flexibility are sometimes too freely used as buzz words, but all of these really do apply to this role. There is terrific potential to grow quickly in this pre-seed A start-up which will give the success applicant a fast track to the experience and knowledge normally only gained over considerable time in a larger corporate environment.
Essential skills:
1. Degree educated, preferably in an engineering or science based subject
2. An intelligent, questioning attitude with an ability to learn very quickly
3. Some analytical skills using MS Excel
4. Commercial awareness of B2B sales, with some direct experience
5. Outgoing strong personality who can work in a team environment
6. Ability to also work independently
Desirable skills:
• Fluency in a second language, particularly German or French
• Knowledge of data analytics, data science, big data techniques or text analytics
• Fun and relaxed office environment within a purpose built start-up accelerator building

We are based in the Hoxton/Shoreditch area of London and the working environment is hard-working but informal. Everyone is actively encouraged to communicate with each other and so we are lucky to have a very strong team, dynamic atmosphere. Core working hours are 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri with 1 hour lunch.
