Operations Analyst (Technical Support)

at Drover in London

Drover is the mobility-as-a-service platform for everyone who wants a car for longer than just getting from A to B: find the car you want, keep it for as long as you want, swap or cancel anytime. In short: we are the Netflix for cars.

Drover achieves this through a two-sided rental marketplace model, connecting professional fleet owners with individual hirers, run on a superb website, a SaaS-based fleet management interface and a mobile app. Our vision is to provide a better alternative to car financing and traditional ownership and change the way people access cars.

Drover was founded by a team of serial technology entrepreneurs in January 2016, has handled over 10,000 vehicle bookings since and has been serially backed by world-class investors including Partech Ventures, Cherry Ventures, Version One Ventures, Forward Partners and BP Ventures.

We are now looking to add an Operations Analyst to our 40-strong team to focus on technical support. In this role, you will become the foremost expert of the technical systems we use incl. internal and external software. Armed with unparallelled knowledge, you will:

- Support the sales, customer experience and operations teams by unblocking technical issues and finding workaround solutions to bugs

- Escalate complex technical issues requiring engineering resources to the product team; follow up & work with the product manager to make sure adequate solutions are in fact built

- Facilitate inter-team collaboration by becoming a go-to person for all things broken

If you are a technically minded problem solver and the prospect of having an immediate impact on the company’s daily operations sounds exciting to you, this is the role for you. Expect to become everyone’s favourite person in the office: people will be buying you cookies left right and centre!

- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline from a leading university and evidence of exceptional academic performance

- 1+ years of experience in an operations, IT support or technical customer success role OR a recent graduate with a demonstrable track record of solving complex problems

- Excellent communication skills: you will work with many team members across different teams every day

- A highly organised individual who has no problem multitasking

- A hustler: you enjoy tenacious execution and don’t mind getting your hands dirty

- The opportunity to become one of the key employees at an ultra fast-growing, exciting startup changing the mobility and automotive landscape

- The opportunity to work with, and learn from, a world-class team that includes serial entrepreneurs and alumni from some of the world’s best schools (Oxbridge, LSE, Chicago, Warwick, WHU) and most exciting companies (Google, Uber, Lyft, Gett, WeWork, EY, Goldman Sachs)

- A competitive salary and stock options in the company

- Top-notch kit. We'll get you a shiny new laptop!

- Tech and food events with the team

- Pension & cycle-to-work scheme

- Awesome startup office with a ping-pong table, an Oculus Rift and a sleek roof deck

- Free team lunch on Fridays
