Expansion Manager

at Drover in London

Drover is the mobility-as-a-service platform for everyone who wants a car for longer than just getting from A to B: find the car you want, keep it for as long as you want, swap or cancel anytime. In short: we are the Netflix for cars.

Drover achieves this through a two-sided rental marketplace model, connecting professional fleet owners with individual hirers, run on a superb website, a SaaS-based fleet management interface and a mobile app. Our vision is to provide a better alternative to car financing and traditional ownership and change how people access cars today.

Drover was founded by a team of serial technology entrepreneurs in January 2016, has handled over 10,000 vehicle bookings since and has been serially backed by world-class investors including Partech Ventures, Version One Ventures, Forward Partners and BP Ventures. If the idea of disrupting urban mobility gets you excited, come on board and join the ride.

As our Expansion Manager, you’ll take ownership of our expansion into new geographic markets starting with Manchester and other domestic cities and assume responsibility for the continuing growth of each market post-launch. In particular, you will

- research prospective markets including market pain points and devise and deliver an aggressive launch plan;

- recruit, manage and mentor a regional team of hustlers to rely on for on-the-ground launch execution and ongoing support;

- leverage, and work closely with, existing HQ teams to deliver a smooth launch and run new markets;

- roll up your sleeves, travel and participate in key local business development and partnership processes;

- work to maintain a healthy balance between supply and demand using data;

- represent the interests of remote markets at HQ;

- write, refine and execute a bulletproof launch playbook.

Are you a rare-breed generalist leader who’s both an amazing communicator and a great analytical mind comfortable with data? Keep reading!
