As a business analyst, you'll be able to lead the requirements gathering process in a variety of sectors. You'll understand and be able to translate end-user needs into use cases, working shoulder-to-shoulder with clients and technical teams to write user stories for leading-edge solution requirements.

Your role includes creating project documentation, defining acceptance criteria, and translating business requirements into technical specifications. You'll be involved in assessing and reporting progress, identifying risks and executing test plans.

You'll feel comfortable working on your own initiative, and have excellent

communication skills. You'll be working in a dynamic environment, co-ordinating tasks with a small team of highly skilled colleagues.


· 3+ years of experience in a business analyst role

· Adept at applying agile methods to shape business processes

· Experience with creating requirements documents and other project development lifecycle documentation practices

· Expert user of JIRA and familiar with other tooling options for agile development

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Ability to successfully manage multiple task assignments across several projects.

· Familiarity with software development tools and processes


· Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent

· Certified Scrum Master or similar agile qualification

· Knowledge of the oil & gas or renewable energy industries

· Experience working in a technology startup environment

· Interest in blockchain and its industry applications
