What is Hotcakes what do we stand for?

Hotcakes is a new trade marketplace for artisan food and drink. We think it should be easy for shops to stock incredible products from independent producers. Right now, our food system is fragmented, time intensive and all about who you know. We think there’s a better way: an online marketplace that puts incredible products in the spotlight.

What you’ll be doing

Hitting the phones, selling to shops, delis, cafes and gyms across the UK
Communicating key learnings to the team about our buyers
Helping our buyers place orders online and responding to their needs
Facilitating in-store promotional activities and connecting our buyers and producers

Skills & Experience Required

Energetic Self Starter: you’ll be confident working independently and taking ownership of your work, with a positive and resilient attitude.
Passion for sales: you’re ambitious, a strong negotiator and excited about growth. You’re not afraid to strike up a conversation and sell.
Super Organised: you will be managing multiple accounts and constantly building new relationships, so you need to be able to stay on top of them all, manage your time effectively and be confident reporting back to the team.
Professional Communicator: you’ll have experience liaising with different kinds of people via email and telephone - you are efficient, prompt and concise.
