Bakedin is a rapidly growing foodie startup based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. We make premium home baking kits and mug baking mixes sold throughout the UK in prestigious retailers such as Lakeland, Hobbycraft, QVC, Ocado, Fenwick and Tesco. In addition to our retail products, we have a subscription service, the Bakedin Baking Club: A different baking kit each month featuring recipes approved by Michel Roux OBE.

We are looking for a passionate, driven, motivated digital marketing professional to join the business to help grow our B2C revenue and customer base. This brand new position is based in our Basingstoke office, where you’ll be surrounded by fun, like minded, creative people who are the heart of Bakedin. We’re looking someone who has brains, a great sense of humour, loves to get stuck in and excited to take their career to the next level. You will be an excellent communicator, and skilled at copyrighting to create high performing adverts and landing pages. Being a team player is essential and you need to be ready to jump in and help out in any part of the business. It’ll be an advantage if you love cake as there is lots of that to go around most days!

Responsibilities and Duties

- Growing the B2C side of the business via digital marketing channels, with a focus on PPC advertising

- Designing, implementing, tracking and optimising PPC campaigns

- Creating, testing, optimising landing pages to improve e-commerce conversion rates

- Designing and optimising marketing funnels to grow e-commerce sales and Baking Club subscriptions

- Maintain and improve our e-commerce site:

Essential skills and experience

- In depth knowledge of marketing funnels

- Demonstrable experience designing, implementing and tracking Facebook ad campaigns

- Experience building, testing and refining landing pages

- HTML / CSS experience

- SEO knowledge

- Google Analytics

- Identifying and managing a set of KPIs

- In depth knowledge of at least 1 major CRM

- Strong skills in MS Office or Mac iWork suite

- Comfortable working with a Mac

- Interest in food

Desirable skills

- Knowledge of javascript or similar scripting language

- Experience running Google PPC campaigns

- In depth knowledge of Mail Chimp

- Experience with Affiliate marketing

- Experience maintaining a Shopify e-commerce store

- Experience with subscription products
