We’re looking for an enthusiastic Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic, Agile teams with the key objective of driving our front-end strategy across our B2C and B2B products. As a key member of the WeSwap Engineering team you will work with talented and enthusiastic people to build exciting new products and features using cutting edge tech. You’ll get to work on exciting new developments to our platform and features. You’ll have a direct influence on the tools and techniques the teams use as well as being part of a team where everyone’s voice is valued.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with product designers with a focus on new feature design and prototyping
  • Collaborate with Backend Developers to help make our APIs
  • Be involved in the user experience design process, from wireframes and mock-ups through implementation and release
  • Work closely with designers and business to define and implement elegant solutions to interesting problems
  • Help define and maintain visual guidelines and ensure consistency throughout our website and web apps
  • Fast prototyping of new user interactions and iteration based on feedback from peers
  • Move frontend components to Angular 5 or React, and future proof our code


Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of Javascript Frameworks and Front end build processes
  • Experience building complex, well structured, single page web apps
  • An understanding of the importance of pageload times and sizes, and building responsive Webapps
  • Experience using Analytics such as Google Analytics to Optimise Conversion
  • Quick learner with an ambitious and results driven personality
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Works well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
