Sales person #1 needed at well-funded tech startup

Tempo is an end to end hiring platform that uses video, intelligent matching and automation to instantly connect great candidates with relevant roles, transforming the way that companies recruit.


Our Beta product launched in mid-May and we’ve been revenue generating since day one (which is mega exciting!). 600+ amazing companies are using the platform, including startups (e.g. Nested, Zego, Goodlord) and corporates (e.g. the NHS, BCG, New Look)


To date, most of our customers have come inbound via paid search which are then closed by whoever is free on the team. We are now looking to accelerate our growth by setting up a more formal sales process and team.


We’re looking for sales person #1 to close outbound leads that are generated and qualified by our SDR, and close inbound leads that come in e.g. via paid search


Responsibilities will include:

  • Closing in and outbound leads via phone and email
  • Managing and recording interactions in CRM system (HubSpot/Salesforce)
  • Managing and training our SDR and helping grow the sales and SDR team
  • Thinking strategically about how to improve sales pitch and process


You will have experience:

  • In the SDR/sales team in a start-up (ideally tech/SaaS based)
  • Talking to potential customers via phone and email
  • Working with a CRM system
