Company Introduction:
Evode Group entered the billion dollar on-demand marketplace with the launch of two retail e-commerce brands, Merchmaker and Choosey. Each specialises in personalised consumer products, produced on demand from receipt of order.

Merchmaker is our B2B2C platform, which integrates with retailers' and publishers' websites, enabling them to sell products on demand with zero stock risk. Only once the consumer has placed an order is the product manufactured and shipped.

Choosey is breaking ground with printed greetings cards, which reach the next level in personalisation: personal video messages.

We are looking for a talented and ambitious Senior UI/UX Designer to create effective user experiences and support our Marketing Team to provide our customers with an outstanding experience. The successful candidate would work across both our brands, Merchmaker and Choosey.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage UI and UX design work for all digital channels including responsive websites and apps
• Optimise UX designs for the websites using performance analytics data
• Create wireframes and prototypes centred around user needs
• Develop storyboards, personas, user flows for various ecommerce projects
• Analyse customer feedback and offer next improvement to websites
• Conduct user research and testing, including gathering feedback and running concept and usability tests
• Collaborate and effectively communicate complex ideas with team members and senior stakeholders
• Work closely with the Senior Back-End Developer to implement the design on the website
• Plan and provide time estimates and scope for UX deliverables as appropriate

Experience Required:
• Proven UI experience including mobile design (responsive and apps)
• Experience in creating pixel perfect designs from wireframes to final designs using brand guidelines
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to customer/user experience practices
• Great communication skills and the ability to interact with Marketing and Product teams
• Experience using Git and associated tools e.g. Bitbucket, GitHub
• Understanding of agile software practices
• Good knowledge of JavaScript and other related front end technologies such as HTML(5) CSS(3)
• Experience developing for Magento 1.9
