Skills and Responsibilities

Maintaining and building a deep understanding of how Agent Based Modelling can be implemented in the field of Biomedical Sciences and leveraging that information to produce leads, engage academics and drive research and sales.

Identifying and establishing new business in the field of medicine around computational simulation.

Organising and leading sales visits with biotech firms and researchers.

Maintaining relationships with clients by understanding both the business of computational simulation as well as the Biomedical Industry.

Seek out academics conducting research in the field and build relationships to provide software and support for their research.

Researching new areas of study and identifying use cases for the Simudyne SDK (software development kit).

Researching and preparing proposals and quotes that adhere to the market standards.

Providing pre-sales and post-sales support.

Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions.

Analysing cost and sales performance.

Producing reports and sales literature relevant to the specific field of study. This will require an in-depth understanding of Biomedical Sciences and an understanding of Agent Based Modelling and computational simulation.

Providing product education and advice.

Attending conferences and meetings relevant to the space and gathering leads and connections to drive sales and brand recognition.

Ensuring that sales targets are met for the biomedical sciences department.


A degree in biomedical sciences or relevant field.

Strong computer skills and understanding of Agent Based Modelling.

High score on a programming test administered by Simudyne.

Strong interpersonal skills and client facing communication.

An understanding of Agent Based Modelling, the current uses in finance and economics as well as the applications in complexity science.

Deep understanding of cellular processes, biochemistry and physiology of the human body.
