Colu is a digital wallet application that connects digital cash with cryptocurrencies. An easy and convenient way to pay instantly from your phone while receiving rewards for transactions being made with the app.

Colu has been an active player in the blockchain space since 2012. Our digital wallet app was launched in early 2017 and we are now operating in 4 cities in the UK and Israel with more than $1M in monthly transactions. We are now adding the ability for any community to create a localised currency and use it as a reward for local consumption.

As a member of the operations team, your role is critical to Colu’s success. You will not only be an ambassador of the Colu brand, but you will also be a valued member of our growing team.

Join Colu's expansion team to lead the establishing of Colu within new communities in the UK and oversee the local operations. You will gain experience interacting with clients of all levels and a variety of businesses across the UK. Ideal candidates should be high energy, driven professionals with a strong technical aptitude. We are looking for candidates who are team players, autonomous and not scared to roll up sleeves to make things happen.

- Be the designated account manager for new partnerships.
- Launch Colu in new communities and grow the operations from scratch.
- Train, support and monitor the local team.
- Be the point of contact for the new communities.
- Manage autonomously your projects and track success to improve our expansion processes.
- Analyse new opportunities.
- Sell the company vision and product: Generate and qualify leads from cold outreach (emails, calls, pop ups), to the stage of closing the deal “on the ground”
- Become a namely expert and be able to articulate our value proposition to anyone who asks (or doesn’t ask)
- Assist planning and participating to cool marketing events

- 2 to 3 years of previous experience in business development and project management
- Self-motivated, proactive, can-do approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-activity sales role
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Be comfortable with working on the ground (50% outside the office)
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Analytical, organised and strong time management skills
- A compassionate and competitive nature
- Able to inspire everyone you speak with
- Willingness to learn and grow in a startup environment
- Ability to travel in the UK

Bonus points
- Familiar with start-up culture, can easily interact with product, tech and strategy teams
- Interest in crypto currencies, Blockchain technology and/or the sharing economy.
