Looking for a Legal Product Manager/Product Owner for a LegalTech start-up company based in London. Duration ~3 months, position is full-time

Skills required (in order of importance):
1. Expertise in at least one transactional law practice and industry area
2. Excel, including advanced features
3. Good written and conversational English

Your background:
1. An LLB or JD, or be in your final year of study - background from law is preferred
2. Experience working in a law firm environment
3. An interest in machine learning, natural language processing or semantic analysis
4. A passion for bringing new technology into the legal profession

We are a small team of senior employees with Man Investments/ Ashurst/ BP Trading background based in London with subject matter experts based in US and Australia. We at early and exciting stage of developing an integrated drafting environment (IDE) tool that automates how corporate and in-house lawyers analyse and draft complex legal documents and manage legal matter work-space.

We have developed proprietary semantic and machine learning technology that transforms the drafting process for complex business-critical contracts. Our product allows lawyers to navigate contracts in a new way - so that they can instantly zoom in to identify and resolve problem areas. Your work will involve designing and implementing user research, and connecting with transnational lawyers from top UK law firms and in London and globally for product interviews and testing.

- Start: as soon as possible, for 3 months initially, with possible extension to 12 months

- Role type: associate or entry level, full time, 40 hours per week
