Intern, Social and Community Management (with a potential of a full-time role)

Position Description
We are currently looking for a social media savvy gun for an exciting paid internship opportunity. The role will be working closely with our Head of Customer Success, helping to grow, support and retain our growing global community of Sweatcoiners we call Sweat Nation!


The main goal of this person’s efforts is to increase advocacy among those users who interact with Sweatcoin, so that they invite their family and friends as a result of their interaction with us even if the initial reason for contact was a negative experience.


Position Requirements
• Daily monitoring of our social media channels to ensure any community engagement is actioned in a timely and positive manner
• Identifying content opportunities on our social media channels for engaging our community
• Identifying commonly occurring customer feedback and highlight improvement opportunities (be these with response automation, customer communication or the product itself)
• Identifying opportunities to foster positive community engagement online and offline
• Conducting customer surveys including chatting to customers over the phone and in person to identify things we need to start, stop and keep doing in building a strong community of advocates and promoters
• Researching and analysing social media data and coverage to understand our online reputation and sentiment
• Identifying social media influencers to partner with


Ideal Candidate
Skills/Experience
• Passionate about online marketing and know your way around all things social (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn – Reddit, Medium & Steemit would be a bonus)
• Strong written and verbal communication (we don’t just want a keyboard warrior, you need to be comfortable speaking with people face to face and over the phone)
• Attention to detail (yes, we’re talking about spelling and grammar)
• Creative and able to come up with ideas and implement them quickly
• Common sense and capable of figuring things out on your own
• Previous experience in customer service or retail would be a bonus
• An interest and passion for health and fitness and cryptocurrency would be a bonus
• Ability to compile results of their work into concise reports
