We ​are ​​UK’s​ kindest ​insurance ​app, ​providing ​a ​simple ​and transparent way ​to ​protect ​all of your things. Kinsu is the ​only ​UK ​app ​offering ​gadget, ​as ​well ​as ​bike ​and contents ​insurance under ​one ​single ​platform – it renews monthly and can be cancelled at any time.

We want to be a force for good, and as such we are in our final stages of becoming B Corp certified. We have also partnered with Streetlink, a UK-based charity that supports rough sleepers. For every policy sell we make a donation to help a rough sleeper off the streets.

About the team

The ​engine ​behind ​Kinsu’s ​rapid ​journey ​from ​idea ​to ​reality ​is ​CEO ​Chris ​Sharpe, ​encouraged and ​supported ​by ​Russell ​Merrett ​- ​the ​two ​of ​them ​close ​friends ​and ​colleagues ​in ​their earlier ​careers ​at ​(re)insurance ​industry ​standard-bearer ​Hiscox. ​Our team is split between London and Lisbon, where half of our team is based.

About the role

We have great growth plans for the business and we are looking for someone to help take our acquisition to the next level. You will be joining and work alongside our head of growth.

It would be desirable for you to have some marketing/growth experience but you don’t really need to – the most important thing is for you to be proactive, curious and eager to learn.

This role will suit someone who is keen to test new ideas, validate them and enjoys solving problems. You need to be analytical and comfortable with numbers. You’ll be organised, comfortable working at a fast pace and able to task switch.

About you

You are practical, positive and nice. Ideally, you will have about 1-2 years of experience in the workforce already.

Essential skills

  • You are able to write clearly and simply;
  • You like working with numbers and data;
  • You are a problem-solver. As we are a young company, there aren’t many fixed processes yet. This means you can create new processes, make suggestions, and tell us if we are doing things wrong;
  • You understand startups are unpredictable environments and comfortable with a degree of chaos.
