What is SYSU?
SYSU (Should You Start Up?)... Entrepreneurship and startup culture is more popular than ever before. There are incredible books written about founder insights, podcasts about business lessons and articles inspiring us to become more entrepreneurial in our own jobs.
However, when it comes to video content, other than a few highlights it’s either very academic (Startup School & BBC’s CEO Secrets) or cheesy (The Apprentice or Planet of the Apps). If this new culture is so cool, why are the videos made about it anything but? SYSU is here to change that.
SYSU is a new publishing brand that is making original content to help inspire, educate and entertain anyone interested in starting up or applying these lessons to their own work in a completely F-R-E-S-H way.
SYSU isn’t just creating content about startups, it is a startup. You will learn, experience and grow with the entire team from the ground up. What’s so cool about a project like this is that our content is direct to consumer. Unlike traditional content, where your content’s success is dependent on 3rd parties - broadcaster, scheduler, distributor, etc. - our ideas release directly to the community. You affect how interesting, engaging and effective the content is.
