Snaptrip allows holidaymakers to instantly search cottages on site, presenting only available properties for their selected dates, all displayed with live pricing and without any hidden charges. Snaptrip also offers a members only pricing proposition - where members can pay less than public price for breaks.

For years there have been numerous last minute brands offering discounted breaks to hotels all around the world. Now there is a focused brand for the consumer who wants to book last minute holiday rental properties with exclusive discounts.


Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as their first dedicated CRM Marketing Executive. You will be responsible for our entire email marketing strategy, bringing your experience and driving innovation in a pioneering company whose mission is to get customers to enjoy life by being more spontaneous. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will plan, create and analyse email marketing activity, with full support from the wider product, marketing and analytics teams.

The Executive has responsibility for all day-to-day activities, ensuring a strong campaign strategy, and a focus on delivering engaging content to members. We’re looking for a superstar to join our team, who excels at technical delivery and creative execution of campaigns.



Responsibilities

Developing engaging email content, for newsletter, transactional and lifecycle campaigns.

Using our email as a way to increase lifetime value and repeat booking of customers.

Ensuring email as a channel integrates with other marketing activity to gain the most benefit from all activity.

Creating informative and educational content journeys to help nurturing email members inspiring them to explore the UK through cottage breaks.

Getting hands dirty with data, working on improving segmenting, personalisation and recommendation for users.

Optimising engagement metrics in email activity.

Working with the marketing team to create campaigns that drive new member sign up.

Ensuring consistency in design, tone of voice and message in all email communications.

Running on-going tests to optimise all aspects of the channel.

Reporting on results to the Head of Marketing and CEO.

Conducting regular competitive audits.





Profile

The ideal candidate for this role with be a technically minded, data savvy digital marketer, with experience in customer centric CRM / Email marketing.

Able to focus on the user experience, while achieving business goals.

Confident analysing performance in spreadsheets, Google Analytics and Email marketing platforms.

A strong understanding of and experience using marketing automation, and connecting platforms using webhooks and tools such as Zapier.

We don’t want you to be a designer, but an eye for good design and ability to maintain consistency is important.

Confident running an email campaign from end to end - from idea, to technical creation, segmenting, delivery, and analysis of results.

Up for the challenge of owning a channel in an exciting, growing business and being responsible for achieving targets.

A natural collaborator, open to sharing input and ideas with the dynamic team around them.

A positive, friendly approach to fit in with the and wider team.

Circa 3 years experience in a digital marketing role with a large percentage covering email marketing.
