We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic writer to write content for easyCar’s blog and commercial pages across the site. This role is for somebody capable of creating innovative and interesting content, ranging from blog posts to holiday destination itineraries to marketing copy. The content focus will be on travel and tourism, so this role is perfect for somebody looking to begin a career in travel writing. This position requires flexibility, creativity and excellent communication skills. Of course, grammatical expertise in English is a must, but an engaging tone of voice and journalistic flair is just as important.

This is a role for someone who wants to be involved in an exciting venture capital backed start-up opportunity. Essential attributes are:
• Exceptional written English.
• Flexibility and ambition: the role is varied and diverse, so you need to be comfortable dealing with a multitude of on-going projects at any one time.
• Positivity and a good sense of humour: we are nice people, and we want to work with someone who has a smile on their face and is friendly.
• A keen eye for detail and experience in fact-checking and research.
• Good academics and entrepreneurial interest: hopefully you’re razor sharp, and if you’re interested in entrepreneurship as well, even better.

Desired attributes:
• Experience / interest in travel journalism a huge plus.
• An aptitude with Microsoft Office will be helpful .
• Although not required, knowledge of Photoshop or Wordpress would be helpful. If not, you will have the opportunity to learn on the job.
• Proficiency in foreign languages preferred.
