Study Rocket is underpinned by an unfaltering belief in giving and creating value and incredible product experiences. As Head of Product Marketing, you’ll very much underpin this value by championing the voice of the market and shaping our proposition to students.

You'll be our first full-time hire and thrown right into the action in a co-founder like role with a marketing team forming quickly underneath you.


The role

You'll work alongside Product to direct the efforts towards perfect product-market fit to make sure all our students have awesome experiences.

Being our first marketing hire, there'll also be some elements of acquisition strategy, though less of a focus at this time.

Alongside strategy, there are a number of smaller day-to-day jobs during this early stage:
- Conducting in-depth user research and reporting/tracking findings
- Speaking to parents, schools and students to align buying criteria with user needs in product communications
- Testing and iterating our product communications, with a focus on results and conversions
- Setting out high-level brand strategy and positioning
- Data analysis and metric tracking to feedback into strategy/product
- Content strategy & digital marketing
- (Sometimes: PPC campaigns; PR; CRM; strategic partnerships; operations)
Some of these roles will be delegated to future hires as the team grows, so you can focus on what you're passionate about.


What we're looking for

- Passion for all things product marketing
- Super interested in disrupting and revolutionising education
- Live by a mantra of user-first validation and learning
- Fast mover: used to working quickly, learning and iterating
- 'Right brain + left brain' - analytical and data oriented but with a crazy creative side to growth
- Experience working with a tech startup

- Experienced in, or passionate about, educational technology
- Self-analytical; you know your strengths, what to delegate and want to learn
- High energy, creative problem-solver, open to new challenges and natural leader
- Risk-taker and curious
- Entrepreneurial, have a business/leadership background
