Germany Marketing Manager

Bloom & Wild are looking for a German speaking marketeer to drive customer acquisition and retention as we ramp up our business in Germany and potentially consider launches in other German speaking markets. You’ll be a passionate marketeer with a desire to produce great marketing to be proud of, and have a love of e-commerce, social, SEO/digital and partnerships.

We work across multiple digital and offline channels to drive our retention and growth, we’re looking for someone with fluent German, experience in marketing and a strong motivation to learn about new channels and develop partnerships.


-You’ll have a hands-on attitude and will work on all marketing channels across retention and growth. This will include but not be limited to partnerships, affiliates, referral/viral channels, email marketing, social, influencers, SEO, digital & offline marketing with a big emphasis on localization of existing strategies.
-You'll work with our Germany Country Manager and Germany Marketing Manager, so there will be plenty of opportunities to make your mark on the business by applying your initiative, drive and enthusiasm to help realise our goals.
-You’ll have the chance to work in an exciting retail e-commerce environment with a focus on great technology and a fantastic customer/recipient experience.
-As well as being part of a small international team, you’ll work with other marketeers, developers, analysts, designers, customer delight staff and flower stylists to bring to life the flower gifting story, hit our ambitious company-wide goals and lots of opportunities to grow your career as the business grows.
-The role will consist of 3 phases: 1) working with our existing Germany Marketing Manager to ramp up and learn the business while working on our Germany Mother's Day peak, 2) leading Germany Marketing activities while our existing Germany Marketing Manager is on maternity leave, 3) After our existing Germany Marketing Manager returns from maternity leave, working alongside this person on a range of marketing and growth activities focused on Germany and potentially other German speaking markets.


-Partnerships and affiliates: identify like minded local brands and reach out to execute on great partnerships. Own the affiliates, viral growth, inserts and referral business.
-Digital: develop and manage the German content plan, e-mail marketing, work with digital marketing team to test and optimize campaigns for the German market.
-Other channels: explore other marketing channels and execute innovative campaigns to grow brand awareness and drive customer acquisition.
-Social, PR and influencers: manage interactions with our PR firm, grow social media accounts and build influencer relations.
-Physical Product: manage the product range with the German team and write product descriptions, identify addons and product partnerships and manage the brand relationship to ensure the creatives are up-to-date.


-You speak German fluently with excellent copywriting skills (you’ll be writing blog posts and press releases that need to be delivered to the highest possible standard).
-You’re familiar with the German market and consumer trends.
-You’ll have several years of experience working in a marketing or partnership role with experience of working on one or more types of marketing channel, ideally in a start-up. - - You’ll be comfortable working with new technology platforms.
-You’re super organized and comfortable managing various projects at the same time.
-You’ll be comfortable working with people from all areas of the business and reaching out to potential partners, happy to get stuck into whatever work is needed so that we hit company KPIs and most of all please our customers.
-You’ll be eager to learn, fast-moving and energetic, with a desire to continuously improve our marketing, our creative and internal processes.
