Field Marketing Executive

The Role

As UK Field Marketing Executive, you will be a key player in Egress Software Technologies’ UK Marketing Team. This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of two years’ experience working in B2B marketing who is ready to develop their career further in a fast-paced marketing environment within a rapidly growing technology company.

This is a broad role and will involve a range of field marketing responsibilities across marketing communication programs, events, campaigns and regional press, including:

Assisting in the day-to-day delivery of the overall UK Field Marketing Plan
Supporting the delivery of a range of marketing and event-based projects, including:
Direct and e-marketing campaigns, from creation to reporting
End-user events and seminars, industry trade shows and channel exhibitions, such as handling event logistics, venue sourcing, delegate registration and event follow up
Working with the Global Marketing Team to roll our corporate campaigns and programs in the UK
Supporting product launches at a UK level
Localisation of content, including:
UK specific press releases and customer references
Email campaigns and newsletters
Relevant blog articles
Assisting in day-to-day management of budgets specific to UK campaigns and events
Work closely with the UK Field Marketing Manager as well as Global Marketing, Sales and Customers to identify new market opportunities and trends
Helping to conduct competitive and market opportunity analysis to provide direction and make recommendations that drive company business strategy
Responsible for analysis specific campaign and event results to ensure ROI


The Person

One to two years’ experience in B2B marketing, desirably within the technology sector
Proven field marketing experience including management of event logistics and campaign delivery
Excellent written English skills, with the ability to write confidently and clearly
Strong verbal communication skills and the highest level of professionalism when interacting with clients and colleagues
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, with strong spelling and grammar skills
Experience of researching market trends, competitors, demographics, pricing strategies, and other relevant information to help develop marketing plan
Experience of reporting on marketing activity and using marketing metrics
Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to work independently when needed
A team player – ready and willing to support the wider Marketing Team as required
Experience of working with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Dynamics
