ROLI is looking for a talented Communications Designer to execute web, digital and online projects to support ROLI’s marketing initiatives.
As a key member of our Communications Design Team, you’ll have the ability to design conversion optimised and responsive websites for multiple devices.

You will work on the design of ROLI’s websites, ensuring brand guidelines are met whilst striving to constantly enhance the content, functionality and beauty of these assets. You’ll see projects through from conception to on site execution, working from briefs based on commercial needs. You’ll also execute the digital design of ROLI’s calendar of campaigns and promotions, including the creation of landing pages and other online assets.

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a disruptive category of music making devices we are creating called ‘Connected Music’ - a network of hardware and software, platform and developer products that will revolutionise how music is made.

What you’ll do:

ROLI websites:

Develop design concepts for web/online/other digital media, based on marketing and campaign ideas
Collaborate with team members from Marketing and Design teams to align the design execution
Execute design updates to ROLI’s websites and online store
Actively seek out ways to improve the UX of ROLI’s websites
Liaise with our in house web dev team to confirm build feasibility of design concepts and provide handover notes/specs
Design new product pages and other new areas of ROLI’s websites
Help define asset and photography requirements for ROLI’s websites

Campaigns and promotions:

Work with the rest of comms design to create concepts for ROLI’s consumer and product campaigns, and sales promotions
Design campaign specific landing pages
Contribute to the creation of other digital assets for campaigns and promotions including email visuals, Facebook ads, Google Display ads, and others

Other communication design:

Work on other design projects across other communication channels such as advertising, point of sale, and events as necessary.

What you’ll need:

Ability to digest requirements and to generate strong communication design ideas and concepts
Experience as a Communications or Graphic Designer, with a proven track record of delivering designs from concept through to delivery
Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Suite and Sketch
Ability to create responsive web designs
Ability to produce high quality visual assets based on marketing and design ideas
Understanding of UX/UI design principles
Analytical data driven approach to design
Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes and visual mockups
Methodical attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
The capability to manage stakeholders and communicate with them accordingly
Ability to enjoy ambiguity, to be proactive to solve problems
A passion for music, design, technology, and/or media

Bonus Points:

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Experience with the Contentful CMS
