City Relay is a rapidly growing short rent property management company based in London venturing also in property acquisition, development and management. We are working with long rents through our own blocks and thus a Property Manager is needed to manage a portfolio of 30 properties. We have grown massively the last years and looking forward we are aiming to be industry leaders soon.

Main responsibilities:
Managing and overseeing the allocated property portfolio.
Finding Tenants- property managers are responsible for marketing the property to fill vacancies. This also includes working with third parties to ensure tenants are referenced appropriately.
Rent Negotiation
Rent Collection - ensure all rent is collected on time - we use Go Cardless & Directli
Handling Leases- responsible for setting the length of the lease and making sure it has all the necessary provisions to protect the owner.
Handling Complaints/Emergencies- deal with maintenance requests, noise complaints and have the necessary contacts to handle emergency situations.
Handling Move Outs- responsible for inspecting the unit, checking for damages and determining what portion of the security deposit will be returned to the tenant.
Dealing With Evictions - Serving various legal notices if required (such as Section 20, Section 21 & Section 8 notices)
Arranging and dealing with deposit, dealing with disputes and statutory declarations if necessary
Assisting with Monthly financial statements
Updating and maintaining Property Management Software (Arthur)
Ensuring bills are paid from investor properties

Person specifications:
2+ years’ experience in property management
Preferably be ARLA Qualified
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills
Enhanced negotiation abilities
Proficient in computer programs, including Property management softwares
Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate Property Management
