E-Commerce Executive

ROLI is looking for an E-commerce Executive to join our Marketing team and help drive B2B and B2C sales of our digital software, soundware and developer tool products (JUCE and FXpansion).
As our E-commerce Executive, you will provide campaign delivery support for ROLI including updating site content and assisting with the delivery of consumer emails, offers and website promotions.

We’re looking for someone who has a strong understanding of digital sales and marketing practices as well as excellent writing, communication and task management skills. A knowledge of music software plugins and experience working within a DAW environment will be highly beneficial for this position.

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a disruptive category of music making devices we are creating called ‘Connected Music’ - a network of hardware and software, platform and developer products that will revolutionise how music is made.

What you’ll do:

- Assist the Global E-Commerce Manager and Head of Acquisition with creating the online and direct marketing strategy to maximise online sales and increase brand awareness of ROLI software (including FXpansion and JUCE)
- Liaise with the Sales Team on promotional activities and execute campaigns as part of the marketing calendar – including paid activity to help amplify reach (with support from wider marketing team)
- Liaise directly with the Web and Design Team to execute campaigns and promotional activity
- Manage content on websites including merchandising new products, setting up campaigns and promotions
- Manage email marketing activity and create weekly newsletters to send to B2C and channel partner lists
- Analyse and report on all activity and KPIs to help inform and provide recommendations for future content, promotions, and campaigns
- Create content and manage social media accounts for FXpansion and JUCE
- Create content for FXpansion and JUCE blogs including liaising with 3rd party authors
- Complete regular competitor analysis of music software market

What you’ll need:

- Relevant experience in digital marketing within a commercial environment
- An understanding of digital marketing mechanics, in particular previous experience with the following:
- Execution of email/CRM campaigns
- Creation of content - including writing copy and management of social media accounts
- Management of search marketing campaigns
- Merchandising and updating websites
- An understanding of desktop & mobile music software applications and target audience
- Excellent communication skills, flawless written English
- An inquisitive mind and demonstrable examples of implementing proactive solutions
- Superb and demonstrable time-management skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
- A passion for music, technology and/or startups

- A familiarity of developer tools including JUCE
