Job description


Charity objectives
• Develop Bathtub’s presence across London in order to:
o Increase our membership base and income
o Develop new partnerships benefiting our members
o Promote our brand and reputation and make us “The Place” for coworking
• Providing support to the bursary programme recipients from recruitment through to support
• Providing support on the work we do with engaging young people


Member experience and engagement
• Be the first point of contact for the community
• Taking an active role in growing and nurturing the Bathtub community with like-minded members and creating an inclusive environment that fosters collaboration
• Managing the onboarding process for new joiners and exiting leavers


Programme of support
• Actively encouraging member participation at events, talks and mentor sessions
• Recruitment and retention of experienced business mentors and advisors that add value to the members and their businesses


Great space
• Maintaining a friendly workspace
• Working with those who manage the operational side of the building in order to ensure members needs are met and following up on any unresolved issues
• Our members are very lovely friendly people and you’ll probably make some long term friends. Occasionally you may get someone who is being difficult and it’ll be your responsibility to manage them and ensure the community balance remains the same


Pipeline
• Advertising memberships and studio availability
• Developing and generating new leads
• Taking tours around the space
• Attaining and maintaining 100% occupancy of the studios and at least 90% occupancy of the coworking space


Events
• Coming up with great ideas for events that meet our member’s needs, communicating and managing these to completion whether these are socials, workshops, talks, mentoring or advisory sessions


Social media & Awareness
• Keeping up to date with latest changes in the startup world
• Ensuring social media is regularly updated (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)


Communication
• Maintaining ongoing communication between Bathtub and its members
• Ensure appropriate signage and posters are in place to either redirect members or to promote events
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to write in a fun “Bathtub style”


Partnerships
• Developing, maintaining and sustaining partnerships with other companies and organisations that help deliver our key mission


Admin, Reporting & Other duties
• Managing the contacts database and sending out communiques
• You’ll have a clear set of goals and you will need to report back on these on a weekly basis. These relate to the charities core activities, supporting those on paid memberships and those on the bursary programme and engagement of young people. We’ll need to know about the number of individuals and companies engaged and the programme of events that have been organised and managed, including meeting building occupancy targets and engaging new partners to support our members
• Occasionally lifting tables to change furniture layouts
• Clearing up the kitchen and using the dishwasher, especially when we have viewings



Qualifications & Experience


You will typically have 2+ years’ hands on experience in a similar role, such as customer services, membership management and engagement, selling and meeting deadlines and targets. Bachelor’s degree – desirable, but we’re keen on having someone with similar experience and someone who is outgoing. Good numeracy and communication skills English GCSE or equivalent Social media Meeting occupancy targets Some project management experience would be useful Working with facilities management Experience in multi-tasking and thinking on your feet Building and sustaining relationships and partnerships

Compensation
Salary £23k plus upto £2k in bonuses (subject to experience)
Working days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 9 am to 6 pm plus some evening work relating to events that support our startups
Holiday: 22 days plus one day for each year completed upto 25 days plus 8 days bank holidays
