Shepper is a pioneering data collection and analysis platform based in London Bridge that works across multiple industries, from insurance and retail to the sharing economy ecosystem. Since launching in late 2016 we have already been named a top 100 UK start-up (twice!) and launched operations in over 15 countries across the globe.


We were founded in late 2016 by serial entrepreneurs Carl August Ameln, Ben Prouty and Jan Vanhoutte, and have grown to a team of 12 over the past two years. We are also part of the prestigious Founders Factory Accelerator programme which is run by Lastminute.com co-founder Brent Hoberman and backed by the likes of Aviva, L’Oreal, The Guardian Media Group and easyJet.


Having recently secured VC Series A funding, we are looking to double our team over the next few months in order to support our ambitious growth and international expansion targets. We want Shepper to be an extremely challenging, but enjoyable and fun place to work, and are looking for talented people to join us at this relatively early stage, and become instrumental in growing Shepper across the globe.


The Role


We are recruiting for an Operations Executive to help run with the day-to-day running of Shepper, as part of our Operations Team. The ideal candidate is an all-rounder – someone who is able to take on tasks, own them and excel.


Our growing company needs a hands-on, flexible and enthusiastic pair of hands to get stuck into the business of running operations. Your duties will focus mainly on managing day to day jobs and tasks including Shepherd liaison, quality assurance of inspection reports and other tasks that contribute to the smooth running of Operations. You’ll be working as part of our Operations Team to constantly look for ways to streamline processes and help to take our business to the next level.


You’ll be joining a small but growing team and will be on the front line of the business, dealing with daily operations across several countries. You will have the responsibility for ensuring that Shepper inspection jobs are conducted smoothly and efficiently.


Required Skills:


1.) Highly motivated self-starter with initiative
2.) Fluent in spoken and written English and French
3.) The ability to function well independently and as part of a team – critical for this role
4.) Happy to work 5 days per week on a rotation (including weekends)
5.) Highly organized and with an excellent attention to detail and good judgement
6.) Common sense and polite personality
7.) Keen to grow in a successful and dynamic startup


Most importantly, the candidate should have a passion for start-ups, the business and this role.
