We are Incentive Games and we are looking for a Lead Technology Officer to join our growing start up.

Incentive Games is a young, exciting and energetic company that designs apps. We make user engagement simple. We do it by creating games to help our clients acquire, engage and monetise their customers. Our ethos is ‘To quietly create world class gaming solutions’.

Responsibilities:
We currently outsource product development (front and backend), however we are looking to bring end to end development in-house. As part of this role we will be looking for the Lead Technology Officer to grow the in-house technology team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals;
• Help the company build an in-house development team;
• Manage the technical aspect of outsourced projects;
• Take technical ownership of existing and future products;
• Discover and implement innovative and upcoming technologies that yield competitive advantage;
• Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency;
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes;
• Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological deliverability performance;
• Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology;
• Communicate technology strategy to the wider team, partners and investors.


Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Lead Technical Officer or similar leadership role;
• Experience with API integration;
• Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy;
• Good understanding of the different front end mobile technologies;
• Experience in Agile technical project management;
• Understanding of budgets and business-planning;
• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Leadership and organisational abilities;
• Strategic thinking;
• Problem-solving aptitude;
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus;
• Knowledge of blockchain smart contracts.
