Help cure Parkinson's disease with AI. Engineering position in red hot medtech startup

at Machine Medicine Technologies in London

(₤40000 - ₤50000 per year)

Parkinson’s researchers already use video to make clinical records of a patient’s condition, which they can refer back to later. Our platform uses pose estimation to enable objective metrics to be extracted from this video, rather than subjective scores which is the current state-of-the-art. We are also gathering a unique, labelled data set through our platform which allows us to do things in the future nobody else will be able to emulate.

We believe intelligent video analytics has the potential to transform medicine across the board, and Parkinson’s is merely our first vertical. Consider the impact of automated clinical note making through intelligent audiovisual systems. This is where we will be in 5 years.

Recently we received investment from SOSV, through their accelerator RebelBio, and we are looking to take on someone to help take the product stratospheric.

The ideal candidate is mathematically fluent and keen as mustard to learn. A MSc or PhD in ML or related field would be great. However, we are keen to take on someone with the right attitude and potential rather than possessing a specific set of badges. We are keen to offer equity of 2-5% depending on salary.

Machine Medicine Technologies is an Entrepreneur First as well as RebelBio backed startup based in London, UK. It has been founded by a doctor, who is also an ML engineer, and an AI PhD, with a bunch of industry experience. Our website is here:
