This is an exciting opportunity for someone to begin, lead and grow the entire marketing function of a fast-growing, funded, B2B SaaS London based startup with clients all over the world.


Our revenue has been funded by pure outbound sales, to date. We’re close to Series A levels of revenue and now we’re looking for someone to join us and build out our digital marketing efforts prior to raising our Series A in the first half of 2019. The package will include considerable equity as a key hire of the management team… We’re looking for someone in it for the long term.


You; in short:
We are looking for a proven track record in digital marketing of delivering B2B growth and working towards lead generation targets ideally in another B2B SaaS (at minimal B2B) company.
You have a strong experience in B2B marketing: SEO and AdWords and Paid Social campaigns (ideally working with HubSpot).

You’ll be responsible for all things marketing at the company, the core focus is on lead generation/customer acquisition. We’ll hire you a team of marketers based on your recommendations. You’re going to be hiring, training and managing the team.

You; in full:
You’re confident, smart and organised… but not boring, never boring. We’re a loud, social company and can be found in the pub on a Friday after a successful week and hope you would join us.
You can’t be afraid of getting your hands dirty yourself. At the start of this journey it is going to be you who is setting everything up, from our GA/GTM accounts, to any AdWords campaigns – it’s all on you at the start.
You need to have a passion for being successful and creative, your role is going to have a lot of scope for bringing new ideas to the table – anything goes! You need to have experience in B2B lead generation/marketing. Ideally you have experience of hiring marketers, but this is not required.



Your team at the start you’ll be a team of one. Prove to us that you need extra resources and that you’re confident you can deliver an ROI and you’ll be given anything and anyone you need.

This time last year there were just 2 of us, now there are 23 of us worldwide, with 9 in the London office. We’re also in the process of opening a South Africa office which will firstly have sales development reps but this will expand to house all types of roles. They’ll be a minimum of 6 in SA by the end of the year.


We hate everything and anything to do with corporate working environments. We’re rapidly growing and, with that, heavily focused on company culture. We’re an energetic, hard-working team are looking for people who fit in socially, just as much as people who can do the job at hand.


We’re still relatively in the early days and have massive ambitions for this company and will do what it takes to get it to where we want it to go, which is why we need a management team to support us, we want an ambitious marketing leader to be a part of that.


Sam is the Sales and Partnerships Director. He has over 11 years’ experience in new business sales, including extensive training and management experience.


I am Scott and I am the CEO and Founder. I came from a financial background. I left the corporate world to start ResponseiQ and pride myself on my work ethic, leading by example.


The sales team are tenacious, far from workshy and we genuinely like each other (or we’re hiding it well, I’ve not worked that out yet). Customer support and sales automation support are also based out of London with support in the Philippines.

We’re financially backed by Fuel Ventures and have just raised a significant amount of money as part of another round of investment, giving you the opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing tech startup. We aim to raise Series A by mid next year.


Most of our clients are in the UK but we also have client’s in the US and Europe.

Areas of responsibility:
—UK, US and Rest of World markets
—A multichannel channel focus – driving sales across digital and traditional
—Report directly to CEO
Planning and implementation of customer acquisition, retention and reactivation strategy and activity
—Leading initiatives for conversion optimisation and best-in-class attribution and analytics
—Overseeing all digital marketing channels including SEO, paid search, social media, programmatic, CRM etc
—Hiring, managing and growing the marketing team
—Build a Series A ready marketing plan

—Acquisition of new customers and qualified leads
—Organic traffic growth
—Maximising customer retention rates, loyalty & lifetime value
—Driving customer activation and reactivation
—Budget management & efficiencies
