Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Reporting to: COO

Location: London | Flex desk at Tech Hub | Home

Responsible for: Generating new sales leads and managing them through the sales cycle, with the senior management, to close.

Overall purpose: To proactively facilitate the sales process from beginning to end.

The Role:

Developing outbound sales leads through the sales process from beginning to end. You will take responsibility for proving the value of Eventopedia and building trust with clients, proactively addressing clients’ needs and – ultimately – contributing to an increase in sales.
Researching a host of event venues around the UK to list on Eventopedia;
Cold calling prospective venues, conducting inbound marketing, and pitching Eventopedia to the venues and why they should subscribe to Eventopedia;
Working with marketing to create bespoke inbound marketing campaigns and following up on leads to maximise venue sales;
Promoting Video Site Inspection product to new and existing venues, to generate sales;

You will also be responsible for maintaining our company client-relationships at a high standard;
Goals:

Drive monthly revenue in excess of target/quota
Grow all sales pipelines in excess of target/quota

Key Requirements:

2+ years in a business development role in a business-to-business environment.
Experience of managing growth, through highly targeted marketing activity.
The candidate will have experience of working in the service, travel, hotels or hospitality trade.
Someone with personality, charisma and the ability to network is key.

What We Offer:
Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, neg. dependent upon experience

+ healthy bonus (Targets to be agreed OTE 30% of salary) + workplace pension + opportunities that may come with a fast-growing start-up including share options scheme TBC.
