Android role - Once in a lifetime chance
at taz.com in London
(₤50000 - ₤80000 per year)
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-funded startup with experienced founders, prominent investors creating a platform to transform group messaging.
Taz is a completely new communications channel that will change the way you communicate with the people that matter to you (still in stealth mode). It’s based on authenticity, exchange (not broadcast) and communicating a glimpse of what your reality is Right Now.
We have just closed our funding round which was lead by Michael Birch (ex-Bebo founder) and a raft of very prominent angels in London including the Ex-CTO of Mind Candy.
Taz is being led by experienced founders with previous exits.
We are forming a core team (4) of elite developers to launch Taz, after which, to iterate aggressively as we get the platform into shape for a full press launch.
We are looking for a senior Android developer to take full ownership of the Android platform as well as being able to have input in product decisions, we have a working MVP, but the product pipeline is full.
You need to have the right mix of attention to detail and speed, the pipeline is heavy and changing based on data, so agility is vital, but you must develop to a level that produces a Great user experience.
-Competitive market salary
-Equity options in an early global platform
-Full ownership of Android platform
-Health insurance + subsidized gym membership
-Equipment – Macbook pro etc
Step 1 – Technical Task (1-2 hours) to be done at home
Step 2 – Interview with the technical co-founder
Step 3 – Group interview with both founders over a beer/lunch
If all goes well, we will attempt to make an offer within 2-3 days of step 3.
The office is based in Shoreditch (WeWork) and we like to go out and have fun, but to be honest, this is a once in a lifetime role, so taking this challenge on will mean a lot of hard work, but Rome was not built in 12 months :)
