The role
This role is for a brand new Senior Sales Development Representative (SSDR) to accelerate our lead generation and grow our sales pipeline. We are currently mainly supporting UK-based customers, however many of these brands are multinational and we are also starting to focus heavily on North America.

The Opportunity
We are looking to recruit a senior SDR who has at least 1 year previous experience in developing a pipeline of the largest e-commerce brands, with 1 year in e-commerce specifically. You will be in charge of at least one junior SDR, and some line management experience is useful.

You will be in charge of creating leads and converting them into a qualified sales opportunity, to support our sales team. Accordingly, we are looking for evidence of process, organisation, attention to detail, prioritisation, and proven knowledge of the stages of a sales funnel and how to move prospects down the funnel.

You’ll be able to manage a number of projects at once including database maintenance, Salesforce admin, market research, lead gen communications campaigns and forecasting/reporting, all in close collaboration with the head of sales.

You’ll use and introduce new tools to understand which lead gen activities deliver best generate new customer leads, and be able to qualify a pipeline of opportunities according to quarterly targets.

Responsibilities
Ownership of net new lead capture, data management and qualification activities, including sales handover and reporting.

Creation of lead gen funnel communications campaigns and segmentation, taking marketing campaigns to market and providing feedback about the best tactics, and suggestions about effective new campaigns.

Understand the appropriate calls-to-action and lead capture methods to convert cold leads, warn site traffic and to re-engage old prospects.

Evaluate, set-up and test the effectiveness of new channels to market.

Internal and external marketing project management and reporting.

You
You’ll have at least 1 years SDR experience / or experience of generating and prospecting leads, with at least 1 year in an e-commerce technology supplier. You will be:

- Passionate about eCommerce retail and online technology
- B2B eCommerce applications experience is an advantage
- Demonstrable success in B2B lead generation and qualification
- Ability to manage, measure and optimise your campaigns
- Operational experience of Salesforce, Google Analytics and a pipeline communications tools such as Yesware or other
- Initiative to research and establish new channels to market
- Extremely well-organised, instinctively able to plan and adapt to new opportunities
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Strong communications and proactive upwards management skills

Desirable if you have:
Knowledge of eCommerce terminology and principles (conversion rate, sessions, A/B testing)
