ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for a passionate, dedicated & results-orientated School Partnerships & Outreach Officer to join our growing team, working within the School Outreach Team to help build the number one UK careers education company.

The ideal candidate is keen to develop and excel their career and leadership skills at an exciting time of rapid growth. You will be at the forefront of ensuring that our school partnerships are nurtured and developed, creating exceptional relationships with our schools and young people. We’re looking for someone that is motivated by the prospect of growing their own team and helping to shape the strategy and growth of a mission-driven startup.

Working alongside our Employer Partner Management team, you will look after the our school partners and support their students to access the most up to date careers information and develop their own professional network with our employer partners - EY, IBM, KPMG, Network Rail, Arm, Ogilvy… to name a few! In this role, we’re looking for someone to nurture relationships with our schools, and develop new school partnerships in regions across the UK.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

To maintain and building partnerships with a growing number of schools, to generate new points of contact in our target regions across the UK
Support the training and management of school presenters for delivering school bookings
To manage designated student lists for work experience days
To work collaboratively with the Employer Partner Management team to create engaging industry content to be delivered across schools as part of our careers curriculum and workshops
To deliver engaging careers academy sessions to prepare our students for apprenticeship application processes
To support the development of online & offline marketing solutions to push forward the growth of our student talent community

You are:

Passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential
Friendly and open, and comfortable working in teams of different types and sizes
Excited about the challenge of a startup - especially getting to help shape the business from an early stage
Flexible and open to last minute changes, frequent within a startup environment
Get up and go attitude with a drive to succeed and strong work ethic
Ambition to become a leader within the business

YOU HAVE:

A strong attention to detail
A creative approach to solving problems
Excellent multitasking and time management skills
Logical thinking skills
An understanding of schools and school systems
1+ years of experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build great relationships over email, phone and face-to-face
A commercial mindset, achieving great results for both students and the business through efficiently and resourcefully managing relationships with schools
