Right now, we’re seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our world class team in helping millions of people find better, more fulfilling jobs.

You’ll join a team in charge of two of our key markets, Germany and Austria. You will play a key role retaining and growing our client base with the support of a first in class diverse team based in our London HQ.

As the Account Manager, you will focus your efforts in providing great customer service and campaign management to some of the largest German/Austrian job boards, agencies and direct employers. Reporting to the Country Manager Germany & Austria, you will be responsible for revenue growth from this existing account base. You will be seen as a product and people expert and use this as a reference point for customers wishing to continue to use Adzuna as their advertising partner of choice.

Key responsibilities will include:
Account Management

  • Manage a set list of existing clients and delight them!
  • Develop existing accounts and their growth within the business
  • Identify and foresee issues, before the client and proactively resolve
  • Build effective working relationships with current client base to enable smooth transition from new business to an account managed service
  • Review and analyse the client’s materials and suggest ways for more efficient delivery, to help them get better return on their spend
  • Work to understand the client’s motivations for success and work these to ensure delivery of their needs


  • Have a complete understanding of Adzuna’s proposition; products and services to enable all customers’ needs be serviced
  • Liaise closely with the Marketing & Tech teams to ensure continued world-class user experience for all current and prospective clients
  • Report back any competitive information / sales trends you feel would be useful to the business
  • Research opportunities and competition
  • Document sales trends and customer/prospect feedback and report back to management
  • Support the Country Manager Germany & Austria on larger accounts when required


  • 1-3 years of account management and/or sales experience, preferably with German clients
  • Excellent rapport builder/ people skills with passion for great customer service
  • Be able to demonstrate achievement of sales targets
  • Strong numerical skills, be able to analyse and optimise marketing campaigns
  • Technically adept, with experience using MS Office suite, Data (Google Analytics) and CRM applications
  • Best in class negotiation skills
  • A good understanding of online advertising ideally with CPC and CPA models/ pricing
  • Having exposure to American culture through studies or travel a significant plus!
