We are looking for a UK Regional Operations Manager to join our team in London. You will be leading a team of City Managers who are responsible for sourcing, onboarding and activating couriers around the UK. You will be in charge of digesting performance and growth targets and then translating these into goals and projects for the City Managers. This role will require someone who is extremely organised, data driven and is an excellent communicator as you will be liaising on a daily basis with City Managers who are based around the UK.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage 6-8 City Managers, who are responsible for overseeing day to day operations in 28 cities across the UK.
Own all performance related KPIs (eg. Number of Couriers Onboarded, % Orders On-Time, Avg. delivery times).
Work closely with City Managers to identify the root causes of any poor performance in their cities and then develop city-level intervention plans alongside them
Encourage and project manage the development and implementation of process improvement projects by the City Managers.
Build, maintain, communicate, and present detailed reporting at both city and regional levels
Ensure we have all tools and information required to maximise client experience across the whole of the UK
Lead collaboration between City Managers and other teams such as Courier Acquisition, Commercial or Tech to propose, define and create new tools and features
Identify, research the best strategies for activating, retaining or re-activating couriers and oversee their implementation across the country

REQUIREMENTS

Experience of managing at least 2-3 direct reports
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
Extremely data driven/analytical - A central function of this role is to tie together various performance KPIs so you can set priorities and create plans for your team
Clear and structured communication - Some of your team will be remote so it is essential that you are an excellent communicator
Independent, enterprising, self-starter who is comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility
Data-driven, meticulous, and detail-oriented, with a thorough understanding of key growth metrics
Creativity and adaptability - You need to be able to understand problems and be able to think outside the box to devise both short and long term solutions
