At ByRuby, we believe you shouldn’t have to sacrifice quality for convenience when cooking at home, which is why we make the most delicious freshly frozen Meals and send them directly to our customers door. Having grown both our online and retail sales, we’re looking for a bright and enthusiastic kitchen manager with a passion for food to join our growing team based in Acton.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone to lead and manage our kitchen operations to ensure every single meal we make is the tastiest it can be. Not only will you have full management responsibility for the day to day kitchen operation, you will be working closely with the co-founder on new recipe ideas and product development as well as having input on anything and everything else that inevitably crops up in a startup. The person we are looking for must have a LOVE for food, be super organised and willing to work hard. Both speed and consistency are key so your must have a great eye for detail as well as a drive to get stuff done.

Responsibilities include:
Cooking a wide range recipes
Stock control and ordering of ingredients
Managing the kitchen team
Packing and fulfilling customer orders
Keeping the kitchen safe and tidy, ensuring all food regulations are strictly followed

Ideal Experience:
2+ years professional kitchen experience
Professional culinary training
