*The Opportunity* 


We are looking for someone to lead our Property Onboarding team.


Our landlord relationships (from individual owners to large institutional asset managers) are crucial to our supply of living spaces. Equally important are our members (which includes a diverse range of renters). Each side as important to the other for Lyvly to bring shared living to the world at scale. The Property Onboarding team is where the properties get handed over from our landlord team and we turn them into homes for our members.


As the lead for the Property Onboarding team, you will be responsible for meeting tough deadlines on turning properties round.  There is no typical day in this role!  We have high standards for the homes that our members move into, and you will be in charge of making sure everything is done in time.  This includes everything from furniture delivery to WiFi and compliance.  You will have a team of 2-3 people reporting into you, and you will be responsible for building your team over time.

You have a strong sense of urgency and focus on the right outcomes every hour of the day. We believe that the following skills (or equivalent experience) and characteristics could serve you well in this role


1. Skills


Top performer / achievement orientation – this skill could have been gained through experience in a professional or financial services setting, ideally at a market leading institution – what is more important though, is your ability to demonstrate this skill to us however you may choose to.


Commercial understanding – you have gained a robust appreciation for a business’ central P&L and capital requirements.


Can roll up your sleeves and get shit done – (i) advanced Excel skills, (ii) experience dealing with confidential and business critical issues, (iii) willingness to respond to ad-hoc requests and projects and (iv) strong academic credentials coupled with (v) excellent written and verbal communication skills.


*Managing people* - you may have some experience of managing a small team, and if not you understand what it takes to motivate people to work to tight deadlines.


*2. Characteristics* 


Owner mindset – you are responsive and proactive during the times that matter in order to get results – this may mean unconventional working patterns, but you thrive in this kind of setting.


Output over prestige  - you have a strong sense of purpose and are not precious about what, how or when matters need to get done. Instead you obsess about long term value creation, uniting people around shared goals and having a genuine impact.


Target driven – to achieve a seamless balance between competing priorities you are able to instruct and take charge as to what needs to happen by when – nothing critical misses a deadline on your watch.


Other – you are also a calm, patient, resilient, self-starter that shows intelligent initiative. You can see around corners as to what needs to get done and take action without being told to. A great sense of humour will serve you well!
