Greyhairworks! is seeking a Partner Manager to help bring order, cohesion and smooth running to our growing network of UK and international scaleup technology companies, corporate clients and our wider associate network.

We’re in daily contact with numerous folk in our growing ecosystem. Some are working with us now others wanting to join. The role is centred on maintaining and building on these key relationships. That means interacting with the scaleups and corporate partners helping out where necessary, feeding back key information to the team and generally making them feel loved. We’re also increasing the number of varied events we need to organise and run too.

Who We Are:
We’re a group of folk who’ve been around the block a few times. We use our age and experience to our advantage – we can open doors, we know how to sell, we’ve lived through the challenges our partners and clients face, and we’ve run things on multiple continents.

Day to day we’re working in three key technology areas:
- Insights. New ways to get intelligence, understanding and inspiration
- Capabilities. These are the new tools to help marketing, advertising and commercial effectiveness
- Engagement. New ways, tools and platforms to help consumer engagement, loyalty and repeat business.

Two key elements of our ecosystem are our scaleup technology solution providers and our corporate clients. The scaleups bring new innovation in our key areas which we then facilitate targeted introductions at the right time to our corporate partners. Equally, these corporations use us as a trusted, no-nonsense partner helping filter out the me-too, risky rubbish and only work with real solutions to solve key challenges and inspire new thinking.

Our goals include building our solution provider portfolio, attracting and engaging new corporate partners and of course do an outstanding job of looking after those already signed up to us.

Just so you know, at the moment we're virtual with regular meetings in London, sometimes elsewhere in the country. So, you'll need to be comfortable working from home and zipping in and out for meetings.

Who We’re Looking for:
If you are exceptionally organised, self-motivated and great at managing time, events and relationships then that’s a great start! We’re a start-up ourselves (2 years young) so we need someone with good bit of hustle, tenacity and who can think for themselves. You’re also proactive and not afraid to ask the tough questions! You’ll be a great listener and, know how to connect with others and influence them.

As far as experience goes, you have a track record of managing relationships with key partners whilst delivering awesome projects on time and budget. Ideally you have worked in or with corporations marketing and commercial functions and or, high growth businesses in a commercial function.

You will be at the heart of our small but growing team with the opportunity to shape our progress.


This is What We Need You to do:

• Relationship Management – we have an incredibly effective and supportive network. We need to keep it that way – and improve it - as we grow. You will need to have awesome interpersonal skills and have managed key relationships in a current or previous life to fit in with this.

• Organisation and delivery of events – every event and party that we host will be set up and run mainly by you. It’ll be your job to find venues, do deals, hustle some sponsorship, plan out timings, find and liaise with the venue and gather the crowds.

• Working with corporate partners – you will work with our Head of Innovation and the point person within our corporate partners to help plan and run internal events, workshops and any other services we’ve agreed to deliver.

• Working with scaleup solution providers – this time you’ll be working with our Head of Solutions and usually the founders of our exciting scaleup businesses. They all talk to a lot of our corporate friends and we need to know what’s going on, to not miss anything!

• Sourcing and recruiting solutions and corporates - we also need you to help find and filter the right calibre of scaleups for our network and, help out with corporate introductions too.

Other stuff we’re looking for:
• Be self-driven, resourceful and results oriented, ready to roll up your sleeves and think creatively.
• Ensuring we communicate with all our ecosystem participants efficiently and effectively.
• Contribute ideas and content to our social media effort and presence.
• Spot and circulate newsworthy stories. These will be commercial deals, major VC investment deals and innovation technology trends. They could be internally within our network or within the wider world of innovation.
• Live and breathe technology and innovation, and are passionate about empowering our growing community.
• Have good working knowledge and experience of CRM systems, Hubspot preferably.
