Pavegen has received international recognition and won numerous awards for its work with some of the worlds’ biggest brands like Google in Berlin, Schneider Electric at the Paris Marathon, WWF in Singapore, Westfield Sydney Shopping Centre in Australia, Adidas in Chile, Johnnie Walker in Europe and Lexus at America’s Cup in San Francisco. As noted in the Guardian, Pavegen’s work is “shifting the perceptions of renewable energy”.
As we enter our next stage of rapid growth we are looking to expand our team with the recruitment
of a Business Development Manager who has either the desire for, or experience of, working with the
world’s leading brands and agencies in one of UK’s most innovative companies.


  • Responsible for planning and leading presentations for B2B sales with global blue-chip clients and
    advertising agencies
  • Representing Pavegen at high profile events related to the energy harvesting sector, renewable
    energy, architecture, sustainability and innovation across the globe
  • Identifying sales leads for generating new business relationships and setting up client meetings
  • Conducting structured cold calling and general enquiry responses – actively generating and
    developing business leads
  • Developing and maintain existing agency contracts and client relationships
  • projects, working with sub-contractors and agents, across 5 continents
  • simultaneously in some occasions
  • Communicating progress to other team leaders


  • Direct input to high level business strategy
  • Define and develop various strategies related to sales, product development, organisational structure
    and international expansions
  • Leading market analysis and sales research identifying key markets, competition and
  • potential partnerships


  • Highly motivated, relevant experience working with Brands and Agencies in a B2B environment
    would be an advantage
  • Personal initiative and outstanding communication skills are a necessity
  • Highly customer focused and results driven
  • Exceptional drive, creativity, presentational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to hit the ground running and forge relationships quickly
  • Excited about technology and able to pick up new concepts quickly
  • Interest in innovative renewable technologies is encouraged
  • Must be a confident communicator with excellent public speaking skills


  • Experience in (or an understanding of) the start-up working culture
  • An interest in technology/science/environmental sustainability
  • Candidates must be based in London
