As a Senior Back-end Developer you’ll be responsible for: – Building a scalable microservice-based application architecture – Building reusable code and libraries for future use – Developing necessary code base in Node.js and/or other backend-oriented languages if required – Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability – Implementation of security and data protection – Involved at all stages from creation to deployment – Writing and helping to maintain automated tests – Identifying security risks – Providing accurate timing estimates on work – Contributing to documentation (instructional and technical specification) – Discussing technical solutions and providing innovative new ideas to solutions

The ideal candidate for the role will possess:

- Good understanding of microservice application architecture fundamentals (lambdas, storages, gateways, cache, queues, proxies etc) – Experience with Node and willingness to work primarily with it – Experience with any other major backend programming language (C/C++, Go, Java, PHP etc.) – Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases – Previous experience in working within AWS/Docker/Kubernetes backend environment – Previous experience in working with Blockchain-based applications is welcomed but not mandatory – Willingness to learn and use a variety of different technologies – Initiative, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team – Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines – Comfortable working in an agile, scrum environment – Confidentiality is essential

Working Hours Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 6.00pm;
