Night Zookeeper is looking for a community support assistant to join their team. The candidate should have an interest in education technology and social media.

An ideal candidate will have a passion for educational technology and be excited about the impact it can have on improving children’s literacy levels. They will also have an interest in sharing their ideas through social media and have an interest in blogging.

What is Night Zookeeper?

Night Zookeeper is a creative writing website, a storybook series published by Oxford University Press, and a new animated series on Sky TV.

Job Description and Requirements
We are looking for a new Community Support Assistant at Night Zookeeper. In this role, you will work with the sales, marketing, and product teams, with the focus on developing and growing an engaged community of parents and teachers.

Main responsibilities:
Moderating content produced by children on
Regularly posting on the Night Zookeeper blog and sharing fun teaching ideas on social media
Creating new educational content for our community of teachers
Curating children’s writing submissions and featuring them on
Promoting Night Zookeeper using social media channels
Supporting teachers and parents using in their schools
Communicating with teachers and children directly
Planning and running Night Zookeeper events
Taking care of magical animals*

An excellent standard of written English
A degree-level education
The candidate should have an interest in primary school level education
Be comfortable with a range of technologies
Be very confident and enjoy using social media channels such as Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook
Experience operating a Teleporting Torch

Job location:
Night Zookeeper HQ is in Leicester Sq, London, WC2H 7JB

Working Hours:
9.00am – 6.00pm

(depending on experience and with potential for growth within 12-months)
