Time Commitment: 8 hours minimum per week (plus any more time you are able to offer)

To inform, inspire and empower people to change the world through engaging, innovative and distinctive marketing.
Overview of the Role & Team
This position will involve overseeing all of the organisation’s marketing activities and initiatives. This will involve coordinating the activity of the team as well as contributing to the various areas of marketing, including social media and PR, where necessary. Working in collaboration with people from across the organisation and reporting to the CEO, this role is key to increasing the awareness of the organisation and its activities.
Providing effective leadership to the Marketing Team.
Coordinating and organising the activity of the Marketing Team.
Support the Social Media Manager in executing a social media strategy that will inspire people to take action to support the causes they care about.
Work with the Bloggers to create fun and engaging blog content, ensuring content is posted regularly.
Engage with NGOs from around the world to develop content for social media, blogs and PR.
Work with the PR Officer to plan, develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns.
Developing good working relationships with the media.
Collaborate with other members of the We Make Change Team to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
Professional experience working in social media, marketing or PR is required.
Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), and communication skills.
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
Positive attitude and detail oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability.
Fluency in written and spoken English
