  • fulltime
  • ₤30000 - ₤60000 per year

CharlieHR is a beautifully designed, easy to use HR system designed for small companies and startups. Since we started work in 2015, over 3000 of the UK’s fastest growing businesses have chosen Charlie to handle the people side of their company.

We're on a mission to make work better - come and join us on our journey.

THE ROLE

In the next 12 months and beyond your overarching goals will be to:

  • Build a powerful, repeatable and scaleable sales engine that drives the revenue we need from our latest product offering - HR Advice
  • Be the lead for our HR Advice Sales team, growing and nurturing the hires you’ll make in the months to come
  • Become a customer expert - you’ll understand our customers and their needs better than anyone else in the business

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Focus on a variety of outbound activities to ensure we have a steady flow of leads coming in at the top of the funnel
  • Work closely with our HR software sales team to ensure a smooth transition of inbound leads from software demos to HR advice sales
  • Nurture leads along the entire sales cycle through multiple touchpoints, including compliance checks, follow-up calls and emails
  • Develop a highly efficient and successful sales workflow, constantly optimising our processes
  • Build strong relationships with our in-house HR Advisors to ensure you understand the service inside out, as well as thoroughly handing over newly signed customers to them
  • Report on the entire sales pipeline to key stakeholders in the business

REQUIREMENTS

You will have:

  • A strong knowledge and understanding of CRM platforms (HubSpot would be ideal)
  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, with a background in driving sales through multiple touchpoints
  • A proven track record of successful sales - and the numbers to back it up!
  • Experience in relationship building across longer sales cycles (1-2 months)
  • A generalist knowledge across the entire sales pipeline

It’s an added bonus if you have:

  • Experience selling services; we’re currently productising aspects of our HR Advice service but there’s limited scope to show customers anything (yet!)
  • Worked in a small business/startup where you’ve owned or had visibility across the entire sales cycle
