At LettUs Grow, we collaborate across teams so as a Farm Delivery and Production Manager you’ll have the opportunity to work with our team of growers and engineers or to attend events with our communications team.


You will be working from our open office where hotdesking is encouraged, within our world-class horticultural research facility and/or in our engineering workshops and production areas.

Role Description:


As a Farm Delivery and Production Manager at LettUs Grow, you will report directly to our Chief Technical Officer. In your role, you will be responsible for the production, delivery and maintenance of vertical farms and vertical farming equipment for LettUs Grow’s customers. 


This role is the first in the new Delivery Team and you can expect to be delegated responsibility at an early stage. You will have a real opportunity to progress as the company scales. This role is ideal for a diligent, organised, personable applicant who is keen to grow with an impact-led startup.

Your responsibilities:




  • To develop and build a world-class team of production, site and maintenance engineers and technicians to deliver the farms of the future in the UK and abroad




  • Ensure the on-time, high quality and on-budget delivery of internal and customer build projects




  • Work with the hardware and software teams to outsource product manufacture and develop maintenance and delivery plans




What you need:




  • Experience managing engineers and technicians in the delivery of products/projects for customers




  • Experience managing vendors and third party designers/delivery teams




  • Highly collaborative mindset and strong communications skills




  • A willingness to get involved with manual build/installation tasks if required




  • A formal project management qualification




  • A degree in an engineering discipline or other equivalent subject




  • A full UK driving licence




Also desirable:




  • Experience in recruiting and building engineering or delivery teams




  • Bonus: Experience in horticulture, food, plant science, plant biology or other related fields.




The position is full-time, based in central Bristol and will benefit from training and external mentoring. Salary will be competitive to match experience, with the benefit of participating in an established employee share options scheme.
