About us


Blackburd is an upscale mid-priced commercial brand that focuses on targeting the customers that want the best of both worlds when it comes to luxury and high-street. Everything from the creative direction, to it's pristine timeless yet trendy designs, are purposely done to provide a high end aesthetic, while sold at mid-range prices so that the average customer can look and feel good when they shop at Blackburd.
The brand launched in September 2018 and within 11 months, it's garnered industry interests solidifying department store deals such as Silkfred, creoate, and as of next month, Asos and Zalando. We also stock inside a brick & mortar store in convent garden. On top of all this, we our showcasing our next spring collection in London Fashion week catwalk show where hundreds of press, industry experts, buyers etc. Will be present. 


Therefore in hindsight, Blackburd is slowly heading in the right direction, BUT we are looking for someone to join the team as the PR & marketing director of the brand. Someone who can efficiently help take this brand further by gaining the network, publicity, and outreach that is necessary to accelerate the growth of Blackburd. As a director, this person will have the authority to lead the PR & marketing ideas and strategies. 


Key responsibilities include:


Product placements in magazines, blogs, print etc.


Celebrity and influencer collaborations, gifting


Developing branding strategies for the social media pages, website, and presence in media publications


Cultivate new contacts and maintaining a useful network for the brand.


Working closely with the founder to develop all ideas and strategies


 


Plans for Blackburd


To continue expanding into online and offline Department stores


To begin using sustainable fabrics & recycling plastic for our packaging. 


To gain celebrity attention & collaborations 


To begin the men's collection in late 2020


To begin manufacturing the signature brand perfume in late 2021


To eventually grow into an international commercial brand, well known amongst other household names.


 


Conclusion & equity


Overall you are going to be a key vessel in this company and any other marketing person hired at a later time, will be working under you. 


In exchange for this lead position, we are offering 20% equity.
