GuestReady is a startup in the sharing economy, building on the success of short-term rental companies. It’s mission is to take the hassle out of short-term rentals, any operations that are related to turning over guests and optimize listings to incur a maximum yield for the host are handled by GuestReady. The company is co-founded by seasoned entrepreneurs (some former Ex-Rocket Internet executives) in Europe and Asia.

In 2019, the startup announced that they have raised 6 million euros in Series A. GuestReady also announced the acquisition of BnbLord, one of its competitors based in France. In the United Kingdom, Guestready is 9th in the ranking of the 100 Most Promising Startups!

Responsibilities (non-concluding):

  • Establish GuestReady in Brighton
  • Build strong relationships to property owners
  • Build a portfolio of premium homes
  • Adapt GuestReady’s global best practices to the local requirements
  • Be in charge of optimizing operational processes (housekeeping, linen, check-in/check-out)
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing a stellar team
  • Develop strategy, tactics, and sales plans to achieve expected sale targets
  • Develop relationships and negotiate contracts with hosts and real estate agents
  • Educate potential customers to the benefits of GuestReady
  • Identify and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
  • Identifying service improvements or new service by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors

Requirements:

  • Able to work in Brighton with a good knowledge of the city
  • Fluent in writing and speaking in English
  • Strong analytical skills, identify gaps/opportunities
  • A people person, comfortable interacting with casual hosts and ultra high end professional alike
  • Self-driven, self-motivated, proactive - a hustler!
  • Risk taker, outspoken and extroverted
  • Detail oriented, strong focus on quality
  • Ability to prioritize and structure problems
  • Willingness to go the extra mile
  • Strong analytical skills, identify gaps/opportunities
  • Experience in operations, hospitality, property management, or similar field a plus
