The Accelerator Network delivers “accountable acceleration” for startups/scaleups, corporates and governments.

We are building a world class niche business with the ability to support thousands of global entrepreneurs at the beginning of their journey, focussed on commercial and / or investment outcomes.

This support is delivered through providing business launch and growth acceleration, access to finance and access to markets. We have developed modules of best-practice driven support and training, typically delivered in collaboration with corporates and / or government to maximise impact.

We are looking for a Programme Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of our four key accelerator programmes:

    In this role you will be sourcing and briefing the experts for the sessions, supporting the Directors who will be responsible for much of the “on the day” delivery. Your role will be mission critical to the success of the programmes ensuring the logistics and resources are booked/prepared and that there is clear communication across all stakeholders (organisers, partners, mentors, experts, startups/scaleups) so everyone knows where they need to be when and that they receive the appropriate resources before and after each session.

    We are based in Central London, Farringdon.

    The key elements of the role will include:

  • Lead on the selection of appropriate startups/scaleups for our 4 key accelerator programmes

  • Manage the delivery of programme(s) so they achieve the core goals which are focused on ensuring

    the startups/scaleups are investment/market ready for the stage they are in their business journey

  • Develop long-term relationships with senior stakeholders/partners (e.g. universities, trade bodies, commercial sponsors and clients), subject matter experts and mentors to ensure they are engaged

    and relevant to support the delivery of each programme

  • Engage with the Marketing Manager to deliver promotional activity for startup/scaleup recruitment

    for programmes & ensure you are attracting the best and most relevant companies at the right stage

  • Ensure high standards of quality are upheld

  • Provide feedback on the startups/scaleups weekly assignments and progress, drawing on your own

    experience, ideally through previous exposure to entrepreneurial activities.

  • Monitoring progress of each programme and routinely assessing for risks

  • Be an engaging, friendly face on the ground to help startups/scaleups connect effectively and make

    the most of the programme

  • Be quick to answer any questions/concerns that arise from the startups/scaleups

You should have:

  • Proven programme/project management or other relevant experience

  • Startup/scaleup ‘selection’ experience against criteria (possibly gained in an accelerator/incubator

    environment, or through origination roles in investment funds)

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the investment fundraising process

  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization,

    including executive and C-level

  • Strong organisational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects while paying strict

    attention to detail

  • Fantastic people skills and strong emotional intelligence

  • A demonstrable interest in entrepreneurship and early-stage businesses

  • A strong interest in London and the global startup/scaleup community

    Your key responsibilities will be

  • The operational and administrative running of the programmes

  • Following up with experts (mentors, experts, partners) to ensure they are confirmed for the sessions

    with the appropriate times/venues and that they are clear on what is required of them

  • Twice a week engaging with the startups/scaleups in each respective programme (when in programme) to ensure they receive the agenda and homework/resources for each week in a timely

    manor

  • Updating resources required each week

  • Continuing to grow the company’s professional network

  • £40-45,000 a year dependent on experience, plus bonus £5,000-10,000 a year (uncapped)
