About us

DancingMind is a ‘Tech for Good’ company that uses Virtual Reality (VR) to improve the lives of the elderly. We have built a first of its kind digital therapy platform that helps people with physical and mental limitations from conditions like dementia or strokes. Our applications are developed to provide a fun and engaging experience whilst also working on upper body mobility, cognitive function and mood. We are at the forefront of the digital health revolution and are looking to serve a market where there is a chronic underprovision of therapy services. We need someone who is passionate about helping others and who will be on the frontline of expanding into a new market. You will be an integral part of a small team and have the chance to shape the direction we take.

The role

Your main focus will be business development so you will often be on the phone or meeting people in person. You will have the opportunity to demo our service and witness the amazing reactions we get from users. You will own the process from start to finish, from qualifying the leads to negotiating the deals. We will give you guidance about industries that we would like to start with but you will have full autonomy to pursue ideas of your own. Every conversation is a learning experience for us and no idea is a bad idea.

You will be encouraged to contribute to all areas of the company whether it is account management, strategy, marketing or product development. You will have the chance to shape your role depending on your interests and skills. It will be a fast-paced environment and there will never be a dull moment. 

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Happy to travel around the UK for conferences and meetings
  • Ability to convey complex messages in a simple way
  • People-orientated
