At Wonderbly, we create our own brilliant marketing campaigns, and create all of our own, absolutely stunning marketing assets. We have an in-house photo studio, and we manage marketing campaigns from initial concept, all the way through to final asset delivery. It’s a vibrant, ambitious and autonomous creative department, where really lovely work is constantly being made to very high production standards.
Life as a Senior Designer at Wonderbly
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised and exceptionally detail-oriented person to join our creative marketing team as a senior designer. They’ll be primarily dreaming up and making marketing assets to run across our website, email, Facebook advertising, print and social media.
We need somebody with experience in digital and through-the-line direct marketing comms. You might well have an agency background. You’ll be used to taking briefs, and have an interest in how marketing works, and be able to join in concepting sessions to create fun, innovative and eye-catching marketing campaigns for either new book launches, or for the Wonderbly brand. You’ll be working in a team with an art director, copywriter and junior designer.
A bit about the role:
Working closely with our Art Director and copywriter on a range of exciting projects, making sure book launches look beautiful, brand campaigns grab customers’ attention, and trade campaigns really cut through.
Taking briefs from the marketing team and working on them as a team and independently.
Artworking creative assets for use in marketing comms, on our website and across various marketing channels, in a variety of formats and languages.
Participating in concepting sessions, generating fresh, inspired ideas to launch books and make our brand famous.
Helping out with photoshoots, involving (usually) lots and lots of children.
From time-to-time you may need to work hours that aren’t typical, so a flexible approach is needed to get the best from the job.
You’ll use the Adobe CS suite on a daily basis.
