Grant Writing Consultant Needed

 

SUMMARY

Need a grant writing consultant who will help us raise write the grant for our R&D work by the end of April 2020. The candidate should be able to gather the information about our project and lay a foundation for writing a successful and compelling grant application, which can be re-used for grant writing, funding applications, investment decks and business plans. Help in the technical and creative aspect of the grant writing process. 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

As the ideal candidate you will fulfil the below:

You are-

  • A dynamic, creative and result-oriented go-getter who means business and knows that numbers count.
  • Identify Grant (Trust, Foundation, government donor) opportunities for grant writing and funding our R&D work.
  • At least three years’ experience in fundraising roles within the UK or USA preferred.
  • A demonstrable expertise in either Individual / Private fundraising or Grant acquisition.
  • Strong writing skills and a working knowledge of effective online engagement tactics.
  • Lead on the development of proposals for the above opportunities.
  • Develop a bank of resources and materials that will be needed to populate future Grant opportunities.
  • The work includes the copy-writing, editing and submission of professionally written grant applications and supporting documents in order to maximise the probability of successfully securing funding.

 

TIME COMMITMENT + LOCATION

Time-commitment - Variable; as needed until the phase of seed-funding and then continuous steering of the R&D activities to ensure we sustain the growth trajectory and reach the milestones in time.

UK or USA location preferable.

Remote working is allowed.

 

REMUNERATION

Delayed compensation plan till fundraising.

Percentage sharing of the fund - variable,

Subject to pilot performance
