We are looking for a super organised and passionate Community Manager to take the lead on our engagement with hundreds of FMCG challenger brands in our Community network.

This person will be independent, great at building relationships and understanding people, have excellent and confident communication skills, and be excited about playing a vital role in enabling our Community to thrive. When not building engagement and relationships, they need strong organisational and analytical skills, to crunch data, organise event logistics and understand insights from our industry

The role itself will involve:

  • Design, organisation and delivery of our events calendar, coordinating across topics, venues, speakers and logistics
  • Attendance across our events and wider industry events to build their network and engagement
  • Lead and chair some events, introducing speakers or leading discussions on industry topics
  • Building strong and trusted relationships with team members of the brands in our Community, being the approachable route into Young Foodies
  • Project management of Community improvement initiatives, such as new online tools or solutions
  • Facilitate and spark debate on our online Community portal and forum
  • Research and create content to provide our Community with relevant news, insight and knowledge
  • Plan and create engaging email and digital communication to our Community audience
  • Analysing the effectiveness of our events to ensure we are continuously improving, measuring attendance, feedback and other KPIs to keep the community engaged
  • Collaborate with other teams, securing input where needed but also sharing key insights back to the team through our CRM or in person
  • Support the broader Marketing and service delivery teams to ensure their needs are supported through Community initiatives

Must haves

  • Experience and passion for the FMCG Food and Drink industry
  • Experience building or engaging a Community
  • Degree level qualification
  • Be positive, approachable, and tackle everything with high levels of energy and enthusiasm
  • Experience in dynamic and fast-growth businesses
  • Experience in event planning and management
  • Experience and comfort managing junior resources to effectively deliver tasks
  • Autonomous and self-motivated to make a difference
